Through paid internships and placements, ULI helps you gain hands-on work experience in your industry and gives you a huge competitive advantage as you begin your career. Successful completion of a paid internship or internship demonstrates your ability to perform in a real work environment. You can gain context-specific skills and identify areas that may need further development. Under the guidance of a mentor, you can quickly adapt to the work environment and learn through the evaluation of your job performance. When applying for professional jobs, having this experience on your resume can make a big difference compared to other recent graduates because you have a written letter of recommendation from the host company. Canadian employers always expect job applicants to provide references from other companies. In addition, our students are often hired by their host companies during or after work, which is the best proof that our career-oriented training matches the needs of the industry.
